Wessex Community Assets is holding a Community Shares and Community
Investment South West Seminar on Tuesday 19 May 2009 at Great Bow
Wharf in Langport. The event is being run as part of the Community Shares
Action Research Project initiated by the Department for Communities and Local Government, Co-operatives UK and the Development Trusts Association.

The event will be especially appropriate for community groups and social
enterprises considering using community investment (shares or bonds) to raise
finance for their projects, and also those advisors working with groups who might be considering this method of raising finance.

Cost is £30 (cheques made payable to Wessex Community Assets Ltd)
Lunch and refreshments are included in the booking fee.
