TRESOC – the Totnes Renewable Energy Society – was set up by local residents concerned to tackle the challenges of climate change, peak oil and energy security. As an Industrial and Provident Society for the benefit of the community, TRESOC provides a new economic model empowering the community to own and profit from the development of local renewable energy resources.
